Topics covered include how to identify and treat different types of poison exposures, hyperthermia and hypothermia, as well as wound care, including bandaging for different types of cuts and abrasions broken bones and impalements. If you are professional dog walker groomer boarding facility or trainer this course is eligible for IAABC CE credits and may even reduce your insurance premiums!
All training supplies are provided during the course including a 130 page manual a frameable certificate and a wallet size Canine First Aider card that includes canine vitals on the back for quick and easy reference. Dummy dogs are used to practice CPR and First Aid skills.
