🗓️ Sunday 12th April, Ilam (National Trust) arrive 9.30am for kit fitting. Hike starts at 10am.
Early booking is strongly recommended, spaces are limited to just 10 participants.
🐾 What is Canihiking?
A relaxed, hands-free way to hike with your dog using a special human belt, bungee line and non restrictive dog harness. It’s all about teamwork, enjoying the outdoors, and moving at a friendly, social pace. No running (it's a hike!) and no experience needed.
Why join us?
🐶 Beginners very welcome, full guidance given (dogs must be at least 12 months old)

⚕️Pre-event questionnaire must be completed by all participants before joining us (only needs to be completed once, unless details change).
What’s included?
🎓 Led by an experienced, qualified Canicross and canihike coach
🎒 All specialist canihike kit available to borrow on the day
👣 Approx. 10km / 3 hours at a comfortable pace
👥 Small, supportive group experience
You’ll need:
🐕 Your dog
🥾 Sturdy walking footwear (waterproof boots recommended)
🧥 Suitable / waterproof clothing
🎒 Small rucksack with: water, snacks, dog treats, poo bags, keys, personal first aid kit & a normal dog lead
We strongly recommend only one dog per person to start. If you’d like to bring two, just message us to discuss.

💳 Card payment available for parking (in book shop or cafe)
🚻 Toilets available near the carpark
☕ National Trust Cafe available for post hike drinks and treats
🥾 Friendly, inclusive, beginner-welcome hikes with limited places. Book early to secure your place! 🐾
