π Plantentuin Meise (Bouchout Castle), Belgium
π 22β23 June 2026
Canephorum Meise is a two-day scientific summit dedicated entirely to Coffea canephora, bringing together science, history, sensory insight and roasting practice under the guiding theme Diversity and Value.
At a time when coffee diversity is being reassessed across the industry, the summit creates a shared space for roasters, producers, scientists and coffee professionals across the value chain to explore Canephora in greater depth, from genetics and conservation to colonial history, traceability technologies, emerging markets, roasting and cupping.
Located just 5 km from Brussels Expo, where World of Coffee (25β28 June) will take place, the summit offers a rare opportunity to begin your coffee week with a focused program at one of Europeβs leading botanical institutions.
Held at the historic Bouchout Castle in the Plantentuin Meise, long associated with botanical exploration and the study of coffee diversity, the event reconnects contemporary practice with scientific heritage.
Participation is limited to 100 attendees to ensure meaningful exchange and discussion.
