Candy-o is the tribute to the Rock-n-Roll hall of fame band, THE CARS! Candy-o has been entertaining audiences all over the world and for over 15years.Candy-o recreates the look and sound of the NEW WAVE movement of the Cars and the 80’s.
Darryl, Mac, Brenton, Martin, and Bob are the players that have more than 30 years of experience in performing to thousands of people as Candy-o.
Candy-o has performed sold-out shows across the nation. Candy-o is also family friendly tribute act. Candy-o plays all the hits, deep cut’s, and fan favorites.
The Cars had more than their share of hits. Songs like, just what I needed, lets go, shake it up, magic, you might think, and of course the chart topping song, drive. They sold over 10 million albums, won an MTV video award, multi-gold disc’s and quirky videos that beat out the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, and other 80’s artists. Three number one singles off the Rock billboard charts.
