About this Event
Yin for Nervous System Restoration
Candlelit Yin Yoga + Sound Bath
This candlelit Yin class was created for moments when life feels loud, fast, or overwhelming; and your body hasn’t had a chance to fully exhale.
We’ll move slowly and intentionally through long-held, floor-based Yin postures designed to support nervous system restoration. Before we move, we’ll begin with gentle breathwork and grounding to help the body feel safe enough to soften. From there, we’ll settle into stillness; working with the deep connective tissues, fascia, and energetic meridian lines that hold stress, emotion, and unprocessed tension.
This isn’t an “easy” Yin class, but it is a deeply supportive one. You may feel sensation, emotion, or resistance arise. Yin teaches us how to stay present with what we feel without forcing, fixing, or pushing through. Over time, this kind of stillness helps the nervous system learn that rest is safe, sensation isn’t a threat, and softness can exist alongside strength.
We’ll close the experience with a 20-minute sound bath during savasana, allowing the body and nervous system to fully integrate the practice.
This class is especially supportive if you’ve been feeling overstimulated, emotionally tired, or disconnected from your body. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and allow yourself to soften.
