Candlelight Theatre offers exceptional theatre performances on a stage unlike any other.
Each season features plays within the 23rd President’s historic mansion, which provides an authentic backdrop.
Creative Director Donna Wing, Resident Playwright James Trofatter and a dedicated company of seasoned actors perform a combination of mysteries, comedies and thrilling historically-inspired tales.
- In the fall, an interactive M**der mystery puts you in the middle of the investigation of a M**der at Garrison Manor.
- Candlelight Theatre’s holiday performance is ‘Tis the Season. Join us to sip hot cider, enjoy carolers, and meet holiday figures from tradition and folklore, as well as jolly new friends.
- Hoosier (H)Arts, a celebration of Valentine’s Day, Black History Month and Indiana poets, returns in February.
- Spring productions follow a salon theatre format, using the mansion to share intimate one-act mysteries and comedies.

Hoosier (H)Arts, a celebration of Valentine’s Day, Black History Month and Indiana poets, returns in February, 2024. This exclusive one-evening event features hors d’oeuvres followed by readings by some of Indiana’s best loved poets.

Murders, Mystery, and Mirth is Candlelight Theatre’s spring signature performance. Three mystery plays will be presented salon-style in three different rooms of the mansion.
