About this Event
Explore your creativity using a mix of foliage from Darts Hill Garden to create your own Christmas table wreath with candles. You'll use fresh greens cut from the garden and work in our outdoor Maple Activity Center. All wreath making supplies and equipment will be provided at the workshop. Please dress warmly and in layers and bring your own beverages or snacks if you wish.
You may bring your own:
- secateurs (garden shears)
- small wire cutters
- gardening gloves
- snacks
Supplies provided per paid registration:
12 inch grapevine wreath or wire form
a selection of cut greens and cones
a paddle of green floral wire
We will have a variety of cut branches available from Darts Hill Garden, some with berries and cones. If you have some specific foliage in mind, such as variegated daphne, osmanthus or holly, bring it along as our supply and collection is limited. Avoid cotoneaster as the red berries drop quickly and stain surfaces.
