Candle Workshop by Jia

This recurring workshop is part of an ongoing series by Jia by Jiaqi Studio, inviting participants to work creatively with wax through a slow, hands-on process. Each session is a standalone experience, with the menu evolving over time.

This session takes place in a home studio setting, offering a quiet and focused environment for making and shared time. All candles can be taken home at the end of the session.

This month, participants will create and take home two candles:

• A sculptural pillar candle assembled with wax flowers
• A hand-painted candle using layered wax application

All materials, tools and packagings are provided. The workshop is fully guided and suitable for those with or without prior experience.

• The workshop will be held in an apartment-based studio in Long Island City, NY (11101). The exact address will be shared after registration
• Please arrive on time, as participants will be guided up to the studio
• Wear clothing suitable for working with warm materials
