Join us in The Garden for a special evening of creativity and community in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At this hands-on candle painting class, you’ll have the chance to design and paint your own candle masterpiece with all materials provided. Choose from a variety of our Goddess Candle styles tailored for both men and women, then let your creativity flow while enjoying light refreshments and good company.
A portion of the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to Lula’s Legacy of Love Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out, a meaningful way to honor the month, or a unique handmade keepsake, this class is for you.

We are dedicated to addressing health disparities in breast cancer, with a particular focus on empowering minority women diagnosed with aggressive subtypes of the disease. Through a range of programs, services, and community engagement, we work tirelessly to bridge the gap in care and improve healthcare outcomes for these individuals and their families, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive beyond their diagnosis.
Black women are disproportionately affected by more aggressive subtypes of breast cancer, such as inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Additionally, they are more likely to be diagnosed at younger ages and at more advanced stages of the disease.
At Lula’s Legacy of Love, we are deeply committed to promoting health equity and addressing these disparities that affect minority women with a breast cancer diagnosis.
Our organization recognizes the urgent need to tackle these disparities head-on and is dedicated to:
Raising Awareness about breast cancer disparities, ensuring that they are acknowledged and understood within our communities.
Providing Support and Education, offering resources that empower individuals to make informed decisions about their breast health.
Advocating for practices aimed at reducing disparities in breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. We work collaboratively with organizations and stakeholders to drive positive change.
Actively engaging with communities and healthcare providers, to foster collaboration in addressing these disparities and improving access to quality care.
