This workshop is an amazing opportunity to learn lots of different candle making techniques.This informative and in-depth workshop begins with a fun take on making dipped candles, repeatedly dipping a wick into melted wax. Then, moving onto poured candles, you will make a set of tea lights, introducing scent and colour into the wax. You will also make a larger poured candle, using a wood wick as an alternative to a standard wick. Finally, you will learn how to make rolled candles using beeswax sheets. That’s a lot of candles, in one day!
Your experienced and knowledgeable tutor will provide demonstrations and share helpful tips throughout the day. There will even be an opportunity to create some packaging which will enable you to turn your candles into thoughtful, handmade gifts for friends and family.
The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make your collection of candles will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and is both an enjoyable and insightful day of making candles.
