Vote smart this spring: Fort Worth Report and the League of Women Voters are holding candidate forums for the May 2 Arlington general election.
On Thursday, April 16, you’ll hear from candidates in the following races:
- Arlington Mayoral Race
- City Council District 3
- City Council District 4
- City Council District 5
- City Council District 8
Doors to the forum will open at 5 p.m. and will begin with a mingling session for attendees to talk with the participating candidates. The forum will officially begin at 5:30 p.m.
We chose the most hotly contested and highest-profile races. Unfortunately, time prevents us from having forums for all races. All other candidates are welcome to attend and mingle, but candidates (involved in the forums or not) are not permitted to hand out materials of any kind inside the building.
Free parking: Use the entrance on South East parkway and follow signs towards the SE01 parking lot. You may park in the visitor section of the parking lot.
Directions to the ballroom: Once entering the SE01 building, turn right and proceed to the end of the hall. The ballroom will be the first room to the left, marked “Ballroom”.
