On Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., we’ll be raising the #CancerHeroDay flag at the @townofinnisfil This moment touches me so deeply. ??️
As a cancer survivor and the founder of #nationalcancerheroday watching this flag rise would feel like a milestone on a long, mental and emotional journey — a journey so many of us are walking together as we move, step by step, toward a future where we truly find our way to curing cancer.
When this day was born, it didn’t come from strategy.
It came from my heart..
From my silent tears…
From prayers whispered softly with my little children by my side…
From my hopes and fears living side by side..
From my fierce determination to live.
It came from witnessing the bravery of loved ones impacted by cancer…
the devotion of caregivers…
and the strength of medical teams who stood by me every single day.
I created this day because I wanted every Cancer Hero — wherever they are in their journey — to feel loved, supported, and honoured.
That’s why this flag matters.
And today, I’m so grateful to the @innisfilindianassociation and the @townofinnisfil for standing with us and raising this flag with pride. ??
A community like this reminds us that none of us fight alone.
We lift each other.
We hold each other.
We carry hope — together.
Let’s stand in solidarity and raise this flag with love, gratitude, and the powerful belief that healing is possible… and that together, we are moving closer to a world where cancer is not a story of loss, but a story of transformation. ?✨
