Family, Friends, and Shipmates - Heather and I have made the hard decision and we are canceling my retirement ceremony that was to be held on May 28th up in Annapolis.
Although there a a few reasons for the cancellation, the biggest was the security requirements to get onto the USNA grounds due heightened security requirements because of the current conflict happening in the Middle East. We are also in the midst of selling our home, graduating our oldest from High School and I am starting a new job June 1st. There were just too many balls in the air at one time.
Heather and I want to thank everyone who was planning to attend. 26 years of service has given us so much to be thankful for as well as introduced us to so many friends ands and shipmates.
