Celebrate Canberra day at Commonwealth Park by joining the Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run. Join us from 7:30am to 11:30am for a morning of community celebration with Hands Across Canberra and Stromlo Running Festival.
Register to join the 2.5km, 5km or 10km run around Lake Burley Griffin, and proceeds from your entry fees will be donated to the Canberra Day Appeal to support people in need in our community.
The fun-filled 2.5km distance is where the party starts, with music, bubbles and celebrations along the way to encourage walkers and runners of all ages.
Those who want more of a challenge can join the timed 5km or 10km run to show their community spirit and get a personal best – medal included!
After you finish your run, join the festivities happening throughout the morning at Commonwealth Park with food, Little Burley Markets and entertainment.
