The Ashurst Senior Mooting Competition is a simulated court advocacy exercise wherein teams, comprising two to three participants, are required to prepare and present both oral and written submissions, in relation to a prescribed legal problem. Teams will be assigned the role of either the appellant or the respondent and will advocate their respective positions before a presiding judge. Eligibility for the Senior Competition is restricted to students who have previously participated in mooting competitions.
The competition will commence on Mondays in Week 4 from 6.30 pm onwards. They will occur in person at venues in the ANU Law Buildings.
