Airport Open Day is back and bigger than ever! This year's Airport Open Day is shaping up to be a truly fantastic day out for families and aviation enthusiasts. We have an exciting program lined up, including avaition displays, childrens activities, aerobatic demonstrations, and a tempting selection of local food stalls. Visit industry stalls such as Airservices Australia, Australian Federal Police, ACT Policing, ACT Emergency Services Agency and more. Visitors have the opportunity to climb aboard both modern and historical aircraft and get up close and personal with emergency vehicles, and more.
Date: Saturday 18 April 2026
Time: 9am-3pm (last entry at 2pm)
Where: Western end of Canberra Airport, entry via Catalina Drive at Majura Park or George Tyson Drive
