Listen. The Padres fans are great. Lovely people. But tonight? Tonight Petco Park is gonna sound like a Tim Hortons drive-through at 7am on a Tuesday — packed, chaotic, and absolutely full of Canadians who have no business being this loud.
We chirp hard. We cheer harder. And when someone asks why you're this excited about baseball, you look them dead in the eyes and say:
"I'm Canadian. I have been waiting for this my entire San Diego life. Don't take this from me."
