CANAAF's Semi-Annual Support Event in the GTA brings people of all ages together for support and sharing of experiences and information.
About this Event

Welcome to CANAAF's November Alopecia Support Event in the Greater Toronto Area!

We are pleased to offer our Semi-Annual Support Event for people of all ages who have Alopecia Areata or are close to someone who does. Join us and connect with your local alopecia community, share experiences, and gain information.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT

Toronto City Hall

100 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 2N2

City Hall access via the main entrance off of Queen St. W. and Nathan Phillips Square.



Overview:

Bring your family, friends and loved ones to meet others in the alopecia community, hear from our Board of Directors, and share your experiences with others who understand. If you are looking for options to navigate your alopecia or help a loved one, you can find guidance and information here. At this event we offer volunteer-led support groups for all ages, snacks and refreshments, and confidence-building activities for children and teenagers to engage in with new friends.

Agenda:

1:00 PM -1:30 PM - Registration, Snacks & Refreshments

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM - Welcome Address

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Support Groups, Discussion, Activities



Registration:

Pre-registration is required.

Cost - $20.00 per person/$40.00 for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children)

Each additional person - $10.00

The fee goes toward the cost of running the event.

Registration deadline is Thursday, November 20th, 2025 at 11:59 PM EDT.

Please choose the correct group (see below) when registering so we can best accommodate all attendees.


CANAAF offers the following support groups:

Kids Club (5-12 yrs) - fully monitored

Teens Club (13-18 yrs old)

Parents of Children affected by Alopecia

Parents of Teens affected by Alopecia

Adults affected by Alopecia

Siblings, partners, spouses, close friends (etc.) are welcome and encouraged to join the group most relevant to them to support their loved one with alopecia.

Children under the age of 5 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.


Kids and Teens Club -

Please Note: All Kids Club and Teens Club participants MUST have a parent/guardian bring a signed waiver form to participate in the Success Session.
