Can You Dig It? is a hands-on community garden series where we learn, grow, and get a little dirt under our nails. Each month brings a new seasonal skill, from planting and composting to harvesting and preserving, so you can build confidence and take a little bit of the garden home with you.Let's be herby! Have you always wanted to know which herb is what and how to harvest it? Or what recipes they are good in? Join us at the Yanahli Park Community Garden to learn how to identify, harvest, and use common herbs in everyday recipes. We’ll walk through the basics and share simple tips you can take home. We've also started some warm-season crops like zinnias, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers which may be ready for planting! Come lend a hand in the garden, and you might even head home with a few extra plants of your own.
