About this Event

Fighting Fentanyl: Community Solutions for Recovery & Behavioral Health" is an informative forum hosted by Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care. This event will bring together nonprofit leaders, business professionals, and community stakeholders to learn how Valley Cities delivers comprehensive, evidence-based treatment and support services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mental illness, co-occurring conditions, and what they're doing to combat the Fentanyl crisis.

Through a “whole-person, whole-community” approach, Valley Cities works to meet a broad spectrum of needs from housing and employment services to coordinated care for veterans, outreach to people experiencing homelessness, and a mobile clinic to reach rural King County.

At this event, you will:

  • Gain insight into how Valley Cities responds to the fentanyl and opioid crisis through medical detox, treatment, and community-based supports.
  • Understand how integrated behavioral health combining substance use disorder treatment with mental health care fosters long-term recovery and wellness.
  • Explore opportunities for partnership and collaboration across business, nonprofit, and community sectors to expand access, reduce stigma, and strengthen prevention and recovery networks.
  • Learn how supporting mental health and recovery beyond just crisis intervention can improve community stability, workforce health, and social well-being.

Whether you represent a business, nonprofit, local government, or community organization, this forum offers a meaningful opportunity to connect, understand, and engage in solutions that save lives and build healthier communities. We believe that with treatment, support, and community collaboration, recovery and hope are possible and together we can make a difference.
