About this Event
The destruction of Gaza’s educational infrastructure and escalating assaults on higher education institutions in the West Bank has not silenced the voices of Palestinian educators and students who continue to resist erasure and genocide. University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University UCU branches are proud to host speakers from the Right to Education Campaign at Birzeit University, Friends of Palestinian Universities and the Emergency Committee for the Universities of Gaza for an event which will provide a platform for an urgent call for increased solidarity in the face of scholasticide.
Join us to hear about how Palestinian staff and students across higher education are organising to defend their rights to education, and what we can do here to end the complicity of our government and our own institution.
The event will be at Newton Building (Lecture Theater 1).
