About this Event
If you're new to the outdoors or just want to find local climbing partners, this event is for you. We will discuss camping and hiking tips and tricks for staying warm and dry. Join us for this lively and informative workshop, and then stay for the great rope and boulder climbing at Movement LIC. Volunteers from NY3C will happily help out new climbers at the event.
What are Mini-Clinics?: The outdoors should be for everyone, but not everyone has access to the knowledge and education around it. NY3C is hosting mini-clinics to help bridge the gap to make the outdoors more accessible.
Cost: Mini-Clinics are FREE to attend, BUT if you'd like to stay and climb, discounted day passes and gear (shoes and harness) are available for $15. If cost is a barrier for participation, please email [email protected], and we are happy to assist.
Arrival: We ask that you please arrive to Movement 5-10 minutes before 6:45pm as we will gather at the Moon board on the 2nd floor promptly at 6:45. Agenda in section below.
When you arrive, please let the front desk staff know that you are here for the NY3C Mini-Clinic and they will guide you towards the second floor bouldering area.
