Warm up by the fire as we cook three seasonal recipes inspired by local Indigenous and pioneer history at LLELA’s historic homestead.Gather around the campfire at the Minor-Porter Log Cabin and learn to prepare three hearty, seasonal recipes over a primitive fire. Each dish is inspired by Indigenous traditions and pioneer homestead cooking, using in-season ingredients and simple methods that you can recreate on your next camping trip. We'll enjoy our freshly prepared dishes together for lunch before taking home a "cheat sheet" of the day's recipes and easy fire cooking tips.
Only $35 per person, ages 12 and up are welcome! All materials and ingredients are provided. Registration is required.
