We’re delighted to be returning to Charnley Fold Activity Centre for our Campfire & Conversation session, created especially for people living with dementia and their carers.This is a calm, friendly space where everyone can take part in their own way. There is no pressure to join in with anything you don’t want to do. The session follows a natural flow, allowing time for conversation, interests, and simply being together.
Activities may include:
gentle movement
relaxed conversation
reminiscence
simple crafts
warm drinks and snacks
All activities take place around a cosy campfire and are guided by the interests and needs of those attending.
What to bring
You don’t need to bring anything with you — all materials and refreshments are provided.
We do recommend wearing clothing suitable for the weather, as we will be outdoors.
If you have a camping chair and would prefer to use your own, feel free to bring it along.
