About this Event

Welcome to Howard County's 2026 Campaign for Humanity Summit!

The Campaign for Humanity Summit, Presented by L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, is a powerful and transformative nonpartisan event building empathy, compassion, and social responsibility into current and aspiring leaders -- in partnership with:

  • Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services Office of the Local Children's Board
  • Howard County NAACP
  • National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)
  • National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR)
  • and a growing coalition of local and national change-making organizations who believe in uplifting humanity.

Join us at the East Columbia 50+ Center for a day filled with inspiring talks, the screening of an award-winning film and TV series episode, interactive workshops, networking, and a robust series of solutions-oriented small group discussions. This event is your chance to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in Howard County.

At the Summit, you'll hear from and interact with other thought leaders, activists, and change-makers who are leading the way in creating a more compassionate and equitable society. Whether you're a seasoned advocate for humanity or just starting out, there's something for everyone at the Campaign for Humanity Summit.

We're growing an army of humanitarian leaders. We are planning to produce hundreds of these full-day Summits throughout the U.S. between January 2026 and November 2028 — educating, equipping and empowering more than 25,000 people to live and lead with humanitarian values in mind.

This is your chance to be part of something historic and transformative. Every participant will have the opportunity to put what they learn into practice with fellow Summit graduates and become Campaign for Humanity Fellows -- a badge of honor that will open doors and create opportunities to change the world.

Become part of a group of people -- a family, actually -- who lead with heart, govern with conscience, and live with purpose.

Don't miss this opportunity to join others in making the world a better place. Register now as a participant or sponsor and join us for a day of learning, sharing, collaboration -- and a lifetime of making the world a better place for everyone!
