At Camp To Be Independent, kids with traumatic brain injuries can just be kids!It’s our annual weeklong, spend-the-night camp offered at no cost for children and young adults (ages 10-21) with disabilities resulting from a traumatic brain injury, including: Injuries at birth, Stroke, Brain tumors, and Trauma.
Campers will be able to immerse themselves in all the fun and exciting activities Camp Twin Lakes has to offer.
Activities include:
🚣🏻♀️Paddle boating
🐎Horseback riding
😋Making s'mores by the campfire
🥾Ziplining
🧗🏻Rock climbing and more!
All outdoor activities are weather-dependent and may be substituted.
