At the height of America's Golden Age of Cocktails, Prohibition brought a loud "last call" at drinking establishments across the nation. What happened? Let's shake and stir some drinks and learn about the dynamics of social movements and changes that came together in the early nineteenth century, culminating in national Prohibition.
Experience Prohibition's influence on cocktail culture firsthand as Hogwash Whiskey Den's mixologist, Simon Moorby, leads you through crafting three cocktails that were trending on the eve of Prohibition. Gain hands-on knowledge of essential mixology techniques and bar tools, while Raising the Bar's resident historian, Renée, reveals how these drinks help chronicle the history and stories of Prohibition.
