**This is a ticketed event** Purchase Tickets to Camp and Feast at Juniper Springs. We will be camping at Juniper Springs campground from the evening of Friday December 6th until the afternoon of Sunday December 7th. Our naturalist tour guides will be taking you on an excursion through Juniper Prairie Wilderness, a federally protected section of the Florida Trail. This section is very remote and serene, as it is not commonly travelled and has strict restrictions on trail management. There is a higher than normal chance that you will be able to see wildlife while on this tour, because of how remote this trail is. This will be a longer hike, approximately 6-8 miles minimum. We will be educating you on this rare Florida Scrub environment and all of the Flora and Fauna that call this beautiful forest home. Your ticket includes park admission, parking, campsite rental, both ecotours, and several meals prepared by our phenomenal chef team, Bon Voisin Chef.
The schedule for this event is as follows:
Friday December 6th:
Arrive to set up camp at 4:30pm
Dinner and snack will be served around 5:30pm.
We will have a campfire, feel free to bring instruments and spooky stories!
Saturday December 7th:
Breakfast and coffee around 8am
EcoTour Hike at Juniper Prairie Wilderness - Approximately 6-8 miles, starting at 9am and arriving back around 3pm
Day-use of Juniper Springs until dinner time -A great time to go swimming at the spring head!
Dinner and snack at camp around 5:30pm
Camp Fire until bedtime.
Sunday December 8th: Breakfast and coffee served at 8am
Lunch Served at 10am
Pack up camp, check out at 11:30.
You must bring your own tent and bedding to this event. Please plan to bring a bright orange shirt to wear while on the trail, as this will be taking place during hunting season. We will provide water and some sodas for beverages, but plan to bring any other beverages you may want during your stay. We are thrilled to enjoy a weekend with you all exploring the woods and teaching you about Floridas natural wonders while enjoying delicious meals!
