El parque cierra al atardecer pero Michelle Díaz Laboy, Maria Soto y Ranger Jonah están ofreciendo esta oportunidad única de caminar el paseo tablado por el bosque y el humedal. Escucharemos los sonidos de la naturaleza después del anochecer, miraremos la luna y aprenderemos en español e inglés acerca de árboles y animales del condado de DeKalb. Vamos a estar caminando por 1 - 2 millas, use zapatos y ropa apropiada para el camino y el clima. Traiga un botella de agua reusable y una linterna. Nos encontraremos en la entrada al parque en South Peachtree Creek cerca del centro de tenis Mason Mill (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd). Todas las personas de todas las edades son bienvenidos. Please join Ranger Jonah, Michelle Diaz Laboy, and Maria Soto for a Bilingual Night Walk at Mason Mill Park. Though the park closes at dusk, Trees Atlanta and Ranger Jonah are offering an unique opportunity to hike a boardwalk through forests and wetlands. We will listen to the sounds of nature after dark, look for the moon, and learn in Spanish and English about the trees and animals of DeKalb County. We will walk 1-2 miles, so wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle and flashlight. Meet at the South Peachtree Creek trailhead near the Mason Mill Tennis Center (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd). All ages welcome. Due to the popularity of this walk, pre-registration is required, with a maximum of 25 participants.
