**Randall Bramblett Band live at Eddie's Attic!**Randall Bramblett is a highly accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and bandleader known for his genre-blending style and creative songwriting. Highly sought-after as a skilled touring sideman, Bramblett’s talent has earned him the respect of rock’s finest. To call his musical history extensive sells it short: Highlights – he toured in the Gregg Allman Band, was a member of Sea Level with Chuck Leavell, recorded/toured in Cowboy, collaborated with Robbie Robertson on a movie and soundtrack. He spent 16 years in Steve Winwood’s band, including the Traffic Reunion Tour. His songs were covered by Bonnie Raitt, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Delbert McClinton, and more. He’s been the horn leader of the Megablasters for Widespread Panic, and also tours in Marc Cohn’s band.
It’s an amazing honor to his songwriting to have iconic soul singer Bettye LaVette release a tribute album to Randall this summer, covering 11 of his songs on the Jay-Vee label. Super-producer Steve Jordan brought in Steve Winwood, John Mayer, Jon Batiste, Larry Campbell and more to play on it. Thank you to “The Great Lady of Soul.”
But it’s Bramblett’s own career as frontman where his artistry is truly on full display as an original, respected talent. He's recorded 12 of his own albums, with the last seven done for New West Records. His genre-defying style combines elements of rock, blues, jazz, and soul, resulting in a unique sound he calls Modern Roots Music, that resonates with audiences of all ages. Living in Athens, Georgia, Bramblett's talents are repeatedly praised by musicians, critics, DJs and fans. His live shows are soulful, profound, funky and fun and his band boasts the South’s very best musicians. Enjoy his artistry as his musical journey continues to evolve.
