Camera Assistant Workshop: Learn AC Basics for 1st and 2nd and more

T his is a big one, but Austin Movie Gear is here to breakdown this fundamental cinema role with hands-on demos of AC essentials.

The Assistant Camera position has a few grades, with the 1st AC being responsible for camera build and pulling focus, the 2nd is in charge of placing marks and operating the slate along with camera reporting and the Utility is a catch-all, sometimes doing DIT, getting lens cases and securing the camera equipment (an extra set of eyes and hands).

I n this intensive, we'll build a camera together and set markers for a scene. Here everyone will get a chance to run through each role for a sample scene.
