Bundle up, enjoy a warm beverage, and walk the paths of the Lyman Estate with a knowledgeable guide. We’ll start the tour inside the mansion with coffee, tea, and treats. Then, head outside for a breath of fresh (crisp) air.
During Camellia Days, tours are paired with the seasonal magic happening at the historic Greenhouses. Enjoy the 100-year-old camellias in bloom at one of the oldest surviving greenhouses in the United States. The Greenhouses are open to visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. Register for a Camellia Days tour of the Lyman Estate Mansion or the Lyman Estate Greenhouse.
Landscape and horticulture were always integral to the estate. This site was home to pleasure grounds, formal gardens, a working farm, greenhouses, and woodlands for over four generations of the Lyman family. See how the grounds have changed over time and explore that which has remained intact in spite of it.
This tour will begin inside the mansion, so meet your guide at the front door or up the ramp.

Accessibility Considerations: Please note this outdoor tour involves traversing uneven surfaces, sometimes with an incline, for around one hour. We will do our best to avoid icy conditions, but ice is always a possibility. Keep an eye on the weather and consider equipment such as poles or anti-slip footwear if necessary.
