About this Event

The Event:

The TTP Cambridge Half Marathon is perfect for first-timers and PB chasers alike. The UKA Certified course is speedy, smooth and comes with expert pacers throughout. You'll be inspired as you run past Cambridge's most famous landmarks, college courtyards and stunning countryside along the scenic route.

Runners will benefit from live tracking on the day so friends and family can keep track, a free race photo, and a finishers medal.

Who are Home-Start Cambridgeshire?:

Our vision is for every child to have the best possible start in life. Our mission is to support parents in gaining the confidence, skills, confidence & emotional resilience to raise their children to flourish.

We provide support to families with children under 5 at times when they need us most. The families we support may face wide-ranging challenges including mental ill-health, isolation, special education needs and disability, poverty, domestic abuse, traumatic births, multiple births... the list goes on.

Support might include volunteer-led home-visiting support, remote support, family groups and parent-child relationship therapy.

Our work with families positively impacts the life outcomes of children in our county.

Why run for Home-Start Cambridgeshire?:

Every pound that you raise will go towards the invaluable work that our team do to support families throughout the county.

Run with HSC and you’ll receive:

  • Top fundraising tips and support, including social media resources
  • Training motivation, hints and tips, plus option to join a #TeamHomeStartCambs WhatsApp group
  • Home-Start Cambridgeshire running top (once fundraising has reached £100)
  • Home-Start cheer point on the race route for a motivational boost!

Most importantly we'll provide you with a reason to keep going because you'll know that you're helping to change the lives of children and families in Cambridgeshire! We simply couldn't do what we do without the support of wonderful people like you.

Fundraising target per runner: £300 (excluding gift aid)

Once you have booked your place one of our team will be in touch to welcome you to #TeamHomeStartCambs and provide all 'next step' information.
