The Cambrian Harp Festival comes to Llanrhystud on 15–16 May for a weekend celebrating the beauty and versatility of the harp.
The festival opens at 7pm on Friday 15 May in Llanrhystud Church with a special concert featuring Llanrhystud Chorale and Irish harper Luke Webb, with Cambrian Harps performing as guests arrive.
Saturday’s programme includes a masterclass with leading Welsh harpist Kathryn Rees, Head of Harp at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the morning as well as workshops led by Luke Webb exploring traditional Irish repertoire and technique in the afternoon.
The festival continues with a Gala Concert on Saturday evening featuring the Cambrian Harp Ensemble and Luke Webb.
Organisers warmly invite harpists, music lovers and the wider community to enjoy this inspiring musical weekend in the heart of Ceredigion.
Sunday morning will be Discover The Harp from 10 - 1 for complete beginners to the harp including a harp made here in Wales to take home and keep.
