Every once and awhile, there's weekend on the schedule, when we have to pitch ourselves to make sure it's not a dream. This weekend of comedy with Helen Keaney and Tim the Dairy Farmer is one of those weekends!!
Headliner Helen Keaney
Helen’s roots are in NYC from her years at The Boston Comedy Club, The Comic Strip and Stand-up NY. Adding TV credits early on including co-host of “Short Attention Span Theater” on Comedy Central. A highlight of her time in NYC was opening for Rich Hall on a college tour.
Helen moved to Los Angeles as her TV appearances increased. A time when she also joined Joanie Fagan and Maryellen Hooper on a North America theater tour as the “3 Blonde Moms” culminating in a sell out at the Jesu Theatre at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival (her second appearance at the Festival). She has spent the last decade as a Host on HSN and raising her daughter as a single Mom.
2020 was going to be the year she started touring again!! Wait, what? Helen is excited to finally be back on the road, fixing the audience one table at a time.
Other Career Highlights: Helen is also known as the voice for the sexy female lead on the classic video game “Pandemonium” co-starring Greg Proops. Her stand-up appearances include A&E’s “An Evening at the Improv” (Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime), Lifetime’s “Girl’s Night Out,” VH-1’s “Stand-up Spotlight,” NBC’s “Friday Night,” Comedy Central’s “Make Me Laugh”, “Nick Mom Nite Out” and the feature film “The Tooth Fairy 2” with Larry the Cable Guy.
Television hosting gigs include TBS’s “Movies For Guys Who Like Movies,” GSN’s “Lover’s Lounge” and “Caroline and Friends” (celebrity panelist along with Ryan Hamilton), Discovery Health’s “Sex Drive”, and Style Network’s “You’re Invited”.
Feature Tim the Dairy Farmer
Tim the Dairy farmer is definitely not a politician or motivational speaker. Tim is a Florida dairy farmer and stand-up comedian. His experiences on and off the farm allow him to bring out the humor of everyday rural life. If you can grow it, pick it, pluck or pull it, there's a joke in there somewhere, and you don’t have to be a farmer to understand Tim’s humor. Whether you are blue-collar, redneck or even a city slicker Tim will have you doubled over with his laughs-per-minute style.
Tim’s resume is filled with comedy festivals, a few television appearances, and comedy clubs everywhere. He still insists that his best show ever was at a clothing-optional resort. Tim travels North America performing at county fairs, country music festivals, and agriculture-related events. Tim just released his second album with Larry the Cable Guy's GIT-R-DONE RECORDS and can be heard regularly on SiriusXM. Tim still enjoys farm life and milks cows, which Tim says keeps his hands warm. Tim’s true passions in life are farming, making people laugh, and eating beef jerky.
