Embark on a Transformational Journey with Claire Spencer
Claire Spencer, a dedicated practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism for over 25 years, has relied on the ancient wisdom of Lojong slogans to guide her through life’s most challenging moments—including her current journey with Stage 4 cancer. In this unique series, she shares the tools and techniques that have helped her maintain a positive, resilient and honest mindset. This is the first offering of its kind, presented by donation to make it accessible to everyone as we build a supportive community together.

Join us from your home to explore practical guidance founded in the ancient Lojong tradition, designed to settle the mind and open the heart. You don't need to be a Buddhist or have any previous meditation practice to attend this practical, hands-on series.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Motivation and dedication chanting to begin and end each session
  • How to focus the mind on a single object (mindfulness of sound, breath, mantra, visualization, movement, or text)
  • Practical advice on posture, breath, and starting your meditation practice
  • Gratitude practices such as journaling, setting intentions, and checking in with yourself
  • Purification breathing, loving-kindness meditation, and Tonglen—a transformative practice to develop self-compassion and compassion for others
  • The role of community in coping, and honestly assessing where you are at
  • Tips for overcoming obstacles and turning daily moments into mindfulness opportunities

Course Details:

This four-week meditation series will be held via Zoom on Mondays, beginning February 3rd and finishing on February 24th:

7:30–8:30 PM

Your donation includes weekly live meditation sessions, access to our comprehensive online resources, and a private Facebook group where you can connect with Claire and Tamkey, Co-founders of Lojong Meditation, to ask questions and deepen your practice.
