Do you have a teenager who is looking to learn something new in a friendly space? Why not join this in person workshop for a fun, creative calligraphy lettering experience. This workshop is perfect for teenagers who are interested in being introduced to the calming art of calligraphy lettering.With demonstrations, guided exercises and tutor support this hands on workshop will allow you to learn about the shapes that the calligraphy letters are formed from. You will be working with ink and a dip pen on specialist practice paper developing to write your favorite song lyric, quote or positive affirmation on calligraphy card. All materials are provided and you can keep the pen and nib to continue practicing your lettering after the workshop.
This workshop is hosted by artist Joanna Bryan, who is fully insured, has an enhanced disclosure and barring certificate and lots of experience leading workshops and classes for children and teenagers. Workshop places are limited to 12 to ensure that everyone can have individual support. Refreshments are provided at the event.
Parent/carer please come into the village hall when dropping off your young person to sign permission forms. Thanks in advance.
