UNSW AD&D primary arts journal, Framework is looking for submissions for its first issue of 2021! Framework: Survival
As entering, enduring, exiting, then re-entering the now all too familiar isolation is now a part of our collective memory, we have shed the skin of 2020 with a new found nihilism and entered 2021 equal parts hopeful and hopeless.
With dancefloors filled by sweaty bodies a now distant fragment--spitting, rolling around in the filth of an evening now unthinkable, where are we left? Within a new reality over exposed by ever changing news updates, a life in a constant state of destablisation.
The self is pushed to its precipice over and over and over again.
How did you find joy in a time of restriction? What are the things that kept you grounded? What is the point of it all? Is there any? How did you survive?
Tales of trials, tribulations, and togetherness are welcome as we expand upon the necessity of survival during times of suppression.
As a part of the upcoming Kudos Online digital space, contributors are encouraged to play with mediums outside the word. This can manifest itself in video, sound, or interactive digital spaces!
