The ProRodeo Tour Finale will play a bigger role than ever before when it pays out almost $1 million on the final weekend of the season.The Tour Finale will move to California Rodeo Salinas, Sept. 23-26 for the 2021 season and will crown the ProRodeo Tour champions. The huge payout on the season’s final weekend will play a pivotal role in catapulting athletes into the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
The Top 24 competitors in each event in the ProRodeo Tour Standings advance to the Tour Finale and will compete for the prize money and 'Salinas' buckle.
“We’re incredibly excited to be the host for the ProRodeo Tour Finale,” Salinas President Dave Pedrazzi said. “California Rodeo Salinas is steeped in ProRodeo history, and having the Tour Finale here will only add to that great tradition.”
In addition to bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding, breakaway roping will be held at the Tour Finale for the first time ever in Salinas.

The ProRodeo season ends Sept. 30. The Top 15 athletes in the PRCA | RAM World Standings in each event will qualify for the Wrangler NFR.
