California Native Plant Maintenance Basics, a Walk and Talk with Tim Becker

From wildfire risks to winter's without rain, ongoing care for established native plants is beneficial all year round. Join TPF Director of Horticulture Tim Becker for an overview of seasonal maintenance practices, irrigation schedules, and pruning techniques using practical examples from TPF's demonstration gardens to give you a solid foundation in assessing the needs of your native garden .

This class will be held outdoors in our demonstration gardens. We ask guests to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and to prepare for up to one hour of walking on steep and uneven surfaces. Water bottles and warm layers are also strongly encouraged.

T im Becker is TPF's Director of Horticulture and a seasoned landscaper.
