Join California State Parks and the California Indian Heritage Center Foundation as we host Dixie Rogers (Karuk) and other celebrated weavers for an informative day celebrating California Native basketry! In addition to ongoing demonstrations, visitors will also have the chance to make their own twined pipe-cleaner baskets, watch videos covering California Native basketry, and participate in guided tours of native plant species at the park.
This event is sponsored with the help of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians.

Admission is $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Youth, and Children 5 and under free.
Visitors will also receive complimentary admission complimentary admission to Sutter's Fort State Historic Park - 3rd Saturday's of the month only!
