Please note- the cutoff to register for the Babysitting or Home Alone courses is Thursday, July 25th.
The Calgary Evergreen Community Association presents the Home-Alone and Babysitting Courses put on by Canada Safety Council.
Give yourself peace of mind, and your kids who are aged 9.5+ the confidence to stay home alone all by themselves. Kids aged 10.5+ will have the skills to take care of other children as a babysitter. Home-alone course is the prerequisite to take the babysitting course.
Date: Saturday, July 27th at Cardel Rec South (Flames Room), 33 Shawville Blvd SE
Home Alone Program $40 + Eventbrite Fees
Ages 9.5 yrs old and up (must be turning 10 yrs old within the calendar year)
Each student receives a Canada Safety Council Manual and Certificate
Home Alone program runs from 9am-12pm.
Home-Alone students must bring a water bottle, nut-free snack, notebook, and pen/pencil.
Babysitting Program $60 + Eventbrite Fees
Ages 10.5 yrs - 17 yrs
Each student receives a Canada Safety Council Manual and 2 certificates.
Babysitting program runs from 9am-2pm.
Babysitting students must bring a water bottle, nut-free lunch, notebook, and pen/pencil. Babysitting students can bring a doll or stuffed animal, but it is not mandatory.
Maximum 40 kids.
