CALEDONIAN Youth Club has confirmed details for its annual Sportsman’s Dinner, which will take place at the Ayr United Hospitality Suite.
The event on Friday, March 27, running from 7pm for a 7.30pm start, promises an evening of laughter and football anecdotes in support of the club’s fundraising.
Back by popular demand, comedian, retired police officer and qualified referee John Mckelvie will compère the night.
He will be joined by former Scotland striker Frank McAvennie, known for his colourful career and crowd-pleasing stories, and ex-referee John Rowbotham, whose tales from over 25 years in the game are said to be both entertaining and insightful.
Tickets cost £35, or £500 for a table of 10 with an advertising package included.
