It is a time of great peace and prosperity in the Greek countryside. We have long wished for such a time to settle upon us, and in honor of the peace, the Great Caesar/King has called for a day of games and revelry.Calling upon his two favorite City States he has asked the Powerful Serpent of Calafia and the Strong Oak Tree of Gyldenholt to send forth their greatest warriors. Not to fight against each other in anger or strife, but to join each other in friendly competition and to show a display of honorable combat amongst themselves.
But wait, the Great Caesar/King and his Glorious Consort want more than just a display of prowess from their warriors. They want all of the best that their people have to offer. They have asked the Serpent and Oak to send their best artisans… painters, fiber artists, metal workers, all of them. For what is a Populace without those that make it beautiful and share the stories and history of their people through the arts and ages?
Finally, they ask for the youth to be present. The future of who we, as a people, are. Our wise Rulers believe in leadership by example and want the youth of their lands to see what friendship and camaraderie can accomplish.
So join us for a day of Tournaments and let's celebrate the Friendship between Calafia and Gyldenholt.
This year we will be at Felicita County Park. There will be a $5 park entry fee. Due to this we have lowered the event fee to $10 for members, $15 for non-members. If you would like to reserve space around the erics, please contact the event stewards.
