About this Event
We'll be hosting a Sip and Paint, where there will be food, discussions, a community spotlight and local DJ's from the afro-carribean diaspora(TBA!) to round off the night.
Charities:
We are doing due diligence on people on the ground in the Caribbean and other affected areas to understand where need is greatest, and will be donating in the form of mutual aid so money goes straight to the pockets of those who are doing the work currently, and are trustworthy.
We'll be announcing the recipients once we're satisfied we've picked the causes we think meet these conditions.
Sip and Paint!
Local artist Grace Lee will be hosting a sip and paint 6-7pm. Materials will be provided but spaces are limited - so nab your ticket quickly if you'd like to enjoy a relaxed environment to meditate on hopeful futures in our community.
Open Decks
Whilst we sip and paint, we also have 2 x 30 minute DJ slots for members of the black community, and we're prioritising those who have little to no experience. We have seasoned local DJ MYNA to offer support and show you the ropes.
