About this Event
Alumni and friends are invited to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at District Brew Yards West Loop (417 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60622).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
Tickets are $11 and include light appetizers and this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag. Additional food and beverages are available for purchase. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters ages 21+.
Space is limited. Secure your spot today!
