About this Event

Alumni and friends are invited to celebrate Cal Poly Maritime's Harbor Cup and Cal Poly’s 125th Founders Day from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at DoubleTree Hotel San Pedro in the Madeo Room.

  • Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters. This year, we are celebrating 125 years of Mustang pride!
  • The 18th Annual Harbor Cup is hosted by the Los Angeles Yacht Club and Cal Poly Maritime. This intercollegiate regatta includes student teams from both Cal Poly and Cal Poly Maritime and is the only intercollegiate offshore keelboat regatta on the West Coast! This is Cal Poly SLO's 5th year participating in the Harbor Cup!

To celebrate these exciting events, come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, and enjoy remarks from Cal Poly Maritime Leadership and the Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Tickets are $25 and include light appetizers and one drink ticket. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages.

Space is limited. Registration closes on Thursday, March 5 or when full.

We hope to see you there!
