About this Event
The Cal Poly Alumni — Napa Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at alumni-owned Reynolds Family Winery (3266 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy remarks from Napa Community volunteer leaders — all while supporting a great cause! This event benefits the Cal Poly Alumni Association Napa Community Scholarship. The scholarship provides financial assistance to local students attending Cal Poly and ensures Napa-area students have opportunities to be part of Cal Poly's Learn by Doing tradition.
Tickets are $50 and include cheese and charcuterie, tastings of Reynolds Family wines current releases and non-alcoholic beverages. This 21+ event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters.
Space is limited. Registration closes on Thursday, March 5, at noon or when full.
We hope to see you there!
