Cal-InSPIRE Parent Café
Pasadena parents and caregivers of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) are invited to attend an evening of discussion and food with other parents.
The Parent Café is hosted by the Pasadena Public Health Department’s California Innovations in Services and Partnerships for Inclusion, Resilience, and Empowerment (Cal-InSPIRE) program. Cal-InSPIRE is a program funded by the California Department of Public Health to find innovative solutions to address the needs of CYSHCN and their families in Pasadena.
What is a parent café?
Parent cafés are safe spaces for parents and caregivers to share their experiences, joys, and challenges navigating parenthood. Parent cafés hosted by Cal-InSPIRE are for parents and caregivers of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) or disabilities.
The Parent Café event includes:
- Dinner
- Facilitated discussion
- Raffle
Each family must submit an RSVP (please only submit one RSVP per family and a staff member will follow up to ask if any children will join you). Childcare will be provided upon request.
