Cake Camp for Kids: 2-Day Baking & Decorating Adventure
Calling all future bakers and cake artists! Join us for a fun, hands-on, and creative 2-day Cake Camp, designed just for kids ages 9 and up. Over two exciting days, your child will dive into the delicious world of cake-making, where they'll learn how to bake a cake from scratch, decorate it with their own unique flair, and leave with a personal-sized masterpiece to enjoy at home.
Day 1: Baking Basics & Creativity in the Kitchen: On Day 1, we’ll kick things off with the fundamentals of baking. Each child will have the chance to mix, measure, and bake their very own cake from scratch. They’ll learn how to make the perfect cake batter, how to properly prep and use baking equipment, and gain confidence in the kitchen—all while having a blast! The focus will be on developing their skills, building confidence, and getting ready for the fun part: decorating!
Day 2: Cake Decorating Fun & Artistic Expression: On Day 2, it’s time for creativity to shine! Kids will learn how to frost their cakes and pipe beautiful designs. Every child will be encouraged to express themselves through their creations.
At the end of the camp, each child will leave with their own personal-sized cake, packed with all the skills and inspiration they need to continue baking and decorating at home! This year students will make a chocolate cake and decorate with buttercream frosting!
*All camps must meet the minimum enrollment requirement to run. You will be alerted if this camp does not meet the requirement and will be given a refund.
*Summer Cooking Camps are REFUNDABLE up to 21 days before the first day of camp. A 50% refund will be given for any cancellations less than 21 days in advance. Please note that your child’s spot prevents others from enrolling, and WRC makes purchases in advance for camps based on the number of enrolled students. Please inquire about the possibility of transferring to a different camp.
